Indian Army Commander Reviews Training and Logistics Infrastructure in Jabalpur

JABALPUR July 31— Army Commander Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta visited the Jammu and Kashmir Rifles Regimental Centre and the Military College of Materials Management in Jabalpur to review operational training and logistics management.

The visit highlighted the Indian Army’s ongoing focus on preparing soldiers and logistics officers for modern warfare.During his visit to the Jammu and Kashmir Rifles Regimental Centre, Lieutenant General Sengupta reviewed the training modules designed for Agniveers.

He praised the center’s efforts in developing physically strong, mentally resilient, and technologically skilled soldiers capable of adapting to the changing dynamics of modern combat.At the Military College of Materials Management, the Army Commander examined advanced training programs covering ordnance, supply stores, and ammunition management.

He commended the institution’s technology-driven upgrades, technical certification efforts, and modern infrastructure projects. While speaking with young officers, he emphasized that innovative and adaptable logistics management remains crucial for future military operations.
