J&K DGP reviews Shri Amarnath Yatra security and traffic arrangements in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Jul 7: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat visited Udhampur to review security, traffic management, and pilgrim facilitation arrangements along the national highway for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.

During his visit, the top cop interacted with police officers, personnel, and other security agencies deployed along the pilgrimage route to assess ground-level preparedness.

The Director General of Police appreciated the seamless inter-agency coordination, professionalism, and commitment demonstrated by all personnel working to ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage.

He emphasized the need for sustained vigilance, effective communication, and public-centric policing to maintain an incident-free environment throughout the duration of the annual yatra.
