CISF Delhi Conducts Water Jet Disrupter Training for Bomb Disposal Units

NEW DELHI July 05 — The Central Industrial Security Force Aviation Security Group in Delhi conducted a specialized demonstration and operational exposure session on the Water Jet Disrupter to upgrade the tactical capabilities of its Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad.

The training, held in the presence of Deputy Inspector General Babu Ram and other senior officials, focused on the operational mechanics, safe handling protocols, and strategic deployment of the critical intervention equipment used for neutralizing Improvised Explosive Device threats.

The practical exercise allowed personnel to practice deploying the specialized tool under simulated operational conditions to ensure a high level of mission readiness.During the session, the Deputy Inspector General emphasized the necessity of continuous training, regular equipment familiarization, and realistic scenario-based exercises to counter evolving explosive threats effectively.

He urged the security personnel to consistently upgrade their technical expertise and tactical skills to guarantee swift, safe, and well-coordinated responses during future bomb disposal interventions.

The training initiative highlights the ongoing efforts of the security force to reinforce aviation security frameworks through rigorous capacity building, specialized training modules, and technical proficiency.
