Ladakh 10th August :- Cadets of 1 Ladakh Battalion National Cadet Corps (NCC) recently visited the Astro Navigation Training Node at Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre, where they gained practical experience in the ancient yet extremely important art of astro navigation. The training session exposed the young cadets to the discipline and precision involved in navigating using the stars—a method formerly employed by war fighters and adventurers to cross unknown landscapes. The program not only honed the technical skills of the cadets but also ingrained important military values like resilience, flexibility, and mission-driven teamwork.
Through participating in practical exercises, the cadets gained problem-solving skills and a better sense of strategic navigation, making them ready for future positions of leadership within the armed forces as well as beyond. This effort showcases the NCC’s dedication to developing balanced, disciplined, and creative leaders who can overcome challenges both in military and civilian life. Exposure to such vocational training emphasizes Ladakh’s increasing relevance as a strategic and leadership development in India.leadership growth center of India.
