Indian Army conducts pre International Day of Yoga session at school in Himachal Pradesh
KULLU, June 18, 2026 — A special yoga session was conducted today at the Government Senior Secondary School in Arsu, Himachal Pradesh, as part of the curtain-raiser activities leading up to the International Day of Yoga.
Organized under the aegis of the Uttar Bharat region of the Indian Army, the event saw active participation from both students and school staff members. Participants were guided through a comprehensive series of traditional asanas and pranayama breathing techniques designed to improve holistic well-being and physical fitness.
The educational and wellness initiative reflects the continued commitment of the Indian Army to promoting health consciousness, discipline, and physical wellness among the children and youth of the region.
By engaging local educational institutions in these wellness routines, the program aims to instill long-term healthy habits and build a stronger, health-oriented community in the mountainous areas of Himachal Pradesh.
