SUKMA — February 09, 2026:-In a significant blow to insurgent logistics, the 223 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) executed a successful recovery operation in the Rayagudem area of Chhattisgarh today.
Acting on precise internal intelligence, a joint Area Domination team comprising the ‘F’ Company and the Quick Action Team (QAT) conducted a meticulous sweep near the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Rayagudem.
The operation led to the discovery of a hidden Naxalite supply dump concealed deep within the forest terrain.The breakthrough was facilitated by the specialized expertise of the K9 unit’s tracker dog ‘Marge’ and Deep Search Metal Detector (DSMD) teams, who successfully pinpointed a buried plastic drum.
Upon excavation, security forces recovered 65 rounds of Barrel Grenade Launcher (BGL) ammunition. This major recovery is seen as a vital step in neutralizing the offensive capabilities of Naxal cadres in the region.
Security officials credited the synergy between human intelligence and technical assets for the operation’s success, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining peace and dismantling insurgent networks in the red corridor.
