As per the fresh traffic update issued by the J&K Traffic Police Headquarters at 12:15 hrs today, passenger traffic has been officially allowed to ply from both directions on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44).
This includes movement from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa.To ensure the safety of travelers and maintain a smooth flow of vehicles, commuters are strictly advised to follow lane discipline.
Traffic officials warned that overtaking and driving in the wrong lane are strictly prohibited and will result in severe congestion on the narrow and sensitive stretches of the highway.
