JAMMU, January 14, 2026 — Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha held an interactive session on Wednesday with the youth contingent that represented Jammu and Kashmir at the 29th National Youth Festival—Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue-2026 in New Delhi.
Congratulating the participants for their exemplary performance on the national stage, the Lieutenant Governor encouraged them to adopt four essential mantras for personal and professional growth: knowing one’s inner self, finding an inner voice, learning through experiences, and fostering collaboration.
The contingent participated across two main categories: the Viksit Bharat Challenge Track and the Cultural & Innovation Track.The interaction highlighted several standout achievements from the festival, where J&K youth presented innovative ideas directly to the Prime Minister.
Suvidha, Kum Kum, Mridul, and Nitish were selected to present their final visions for a modern, sustainable, and fit Bharat before Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Furthermore, the J&K team—consisting of Salik Aijaz Khan, Saliq Bashir, and Adnan Ferdos—secured the 3rd position nationally for their disaster-resilient hackathon project, A.N.T.S. Another notable innovator, Sheikh Anzar Amin, earned a place in the PM Gallery for inventing an automatic gas regulator for LPG heaters.
Senior officials, including Commissioner Secretary Yasha Mudgal and Director General Anuradha Gupta, were also present to celebrate the success of the young leaders.
