JPDCL Announces Scheduled Power Shutdown Across Multiple Districts in Jammu Division

JAMMU, June 10, 2026 — The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited has announced scheduled power shutdowns affecting several areas on June 11 due to necessary maintenance and upgrade work. According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL Jammu, electricity supply to the PHE Sheetli Station, MES Nagrota, Sidhra, Bamyal, and adjoining locations will be temporarily suspended from 2 pm to 6 am.

Residents in District Kishtwar, GSS Kishtwar, and GSS NHPC will experience a power outage from 7 am to 11 am, while the shutdown for Koteranka Kandi, Samote, Budhal, and neighboring areas is scheduled from 8 am to 2 pm. Additionally, power supply to MES Kaluchak, Ratnuchak, and nearby pockets will remain affected from 6 am to 9 am.

In a separate notice, the Executive Engineer of Electric Division-I, JPDCL Parade Jammu, stated that power supply to Naryani Mohalla, Tange Wali Gali Government Flat, Pakka Danga, and the backside of the J&K Bank ATM will face daily disruptions from June 11 to June 30.

These cuts will take place between 8 am and 1 pm on an as-and-when-required basis to facilitate localized technical works. Inhabitants of the affected zones have been advised to plan accordingly for the temporary outages.
