Indian Army K9 Teams Conduct Specialized Heli-Borne Slithering Drills in Manipur

Leimakhong, May 9, 2026 :- The Indian Army’s Red Shield Division recently enhanced its tactical capabilities by conducting a specialized heli-borne slithering drill for its K9 warriors at the Leimakhong Military Station in Manipur.

During the exercise, five dedicated dog teams underwent rigorous training for rapid insertion via helicopters, a technique designed to boost operational synergy and combat preparedness in challenging terrains.
