SSP Jammu Chairs Comprehensive Crime Review Meeting to Enhance Law and Order

Jammu, May 9, 2026 :- A high-level crime review meeting was held today at the District Police Lines in Jammu, presided over by the Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu.

The session was attended by all Zonal Superintendents of Police, Sub-Divisional Police Officers, Station House Officers, and Incharges of various Police Posts across the district.

The primary focus of the meeting was to conduct a thorough evaluation of the current law and order situation, analyze emerging crime trends, and assess the status of ongoing investigations and pending cases.

During the discussions, the SSP stressed the necessity of timely investigations and effective supervision to ensure that justice is delivered promptly to the public.

Specific directives were issued to district officers to maintain a strict vigil against criminal activities and to bolster intelligence-gathering networks.

The meeting laid significant emphasis on intensifying operations against drug trafficking, organized crime, and property offenses.

Furthermore, the performance of individual police stations was reviewed, with a call for improved coordination between units to tackle modern policing challenges more effectively.
