Jammu,13th August :-The Akhnoor Sub-division came alive with patriotic fervour today as the Jammu Police organised a grand Tiranga Bike Rally from Old Steel Bridge to Hanuman Chowk, Fountain Chowk, Bus Stand, Main Bazar, and Kameshwar Temple. The rally drew enthusiastic participation from locals, youth, and law enforcement personnel, turning the town’s streets into a vibrant sea of saffron, white, and green.
The event was graced by MLA Akhnoor, Mohan Lal Bhagat, whose presence inspired participants and amplified the spirit of national pride. Nearly 150–200 participants including respectable citizen and youth of adjoining areas joined the rally, showcasing unity and commitment to the nation.
A strong contingent of officers and personnel from Police Sub-division Akhnoor also participated, led by SP Rural Jammu,Brijesh Sharma-JKPS,SDPO Akhnoor Virender Gupta, SHO Akhnoor Rajesh Jasrotia, and IC PP Jourian, along with staff from Police Station Akhnoor.
With the Tiranga fluttering high, the rally reverberated with spirited chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”, filling the Ring Road with an electrifying wave of patriotism.
The event concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the ideals of freedom, harmony, and brotherhood , a heartfelt tribute to the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters and a reaffirmation of the people’s commitment to a stronger, united nation.
