Indian Army Conducts Medical Camp in Ladakh’s Koyul Village to Boost Remote Border Healthcare

KOYUL (NYOMA), LADAKH JULY 30— Demonstrating its commitment to “Healthcare at the Doorstep, Care Beyond Boundaries,” the Indian Army, in collaboration with the local community, organized a Health Awareness and Primary Medical Check-up Camp in Koyul village, located in the Nyoma block of Ladakh, on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

The outreach initiative focused on promoting preventive healthcare, raising awareness about healthy living practices, and offering free primary medical consultations to residents living in extreme high-altitude conditions. Aimed at bridging medical accessibility gaps in remote frontier regions, the drive reflected the shared dedication and enduring bond between the Indian Armed Forces and local border communities toward improving public health and well-being.
