Reasi Police Attaches Properties of Five Pakistan-Based Terror Handlers

REASI, July 30, 2026 – Reasi Police executed a major crackdown on the regional terror ecosystem by attaching immovable properties belonging to five Pakistan-based terror handlers during an investigation under FIR No. 70/2024 at Police Station Mahore.

The attachment proceedings were led by Sub-Divisional Police Officer Mahore Parul Bhardwaj, alongside the Station House Officer, in the presence of the Executive Magistrate and local witnesses. The action targets nearly 33 Kanals of land belonging to Alaf Din, Ghulam Mohd alias Gamma, Mohd Asraf, Shabir Ahmad, and Bihar Din under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and the E&IMCO Act.

Investigative evidence established that the five accused had previously exfiltrated to Pakistan for weapons training and are currently operating as terror handlers from across the border to coordinate anti-national activities. Authorities revealed that the seized lands were at risk of being sold off to generate funds intended to sustain local terror operations.

Following approval from Police Headquarters Jammu & Kashmir, police attached the properties to dismantle the financial network supporting cross-border terrorism, reaffirming their commitment to denying resources to terror networks and ensuring long-term peace and security in the region.
