Jammu and Kashmir police conduct security mock drill for Shri Amarnath ji Yatra in Budgam

BUDGAM, June 29 — Jammu and Kashmir police conducted a high-intensity security preparedness mock drill in Budgam to ensure comprehensive security arrangements for the upcoming Shri Amarnath ji Yatra.

The exercise focused on multiple simulated attack scenarios to assess the operational readiness, response capabilities, and inter-agency coordination of all stakeholders responsible for the safety and security of the pilgrimage.

The mock drill simulated various high-risk terror attack contingencies, allowing participating agencies to rehearse coordinated tactical responses, emergency evacuation procedures, casualty management, area domination, and incident command protocols under realistic conditions.

The exercise involved active participation from the Budgam Police, Central Reserve Police Force, Sashastra Seema Bal, Fire and Emergency Services, Health Department, Civil Administration, and other allied agencies.
