Anantnag SSP reviews Amarnath Ji Yatra security preparedness and inspects construction at Langabal and Nunwan

ANANTNAG, JUNE 05 — SSP Anantnag Amod Ashok Nagpure visited Pahalgam to review security preparedness for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026.

During the visit, he inspected the ongoing construction work of police establishments at Langabal and Nunwan, where he assessed the pace and quality of construction and took stock of the facilities being developed to strengthen local policing infrastructure.

He interacted with the executing agencies and directed them to ensure timely completion of the projects while adhering to prescribed quality standards.The inspection formed a key part of the comprehensive security arrangements and preparedness measures being put in place for the smooth and secure conduct of the annual pilgrimage.

Nagpure emphasized the importance of robust infrastructure in enhancing operational readiness, accommodation, logistics, and overall deployment efficiency of security personnel along the route.
