Indian Army provides humanitarian relief to students in Leimakhong Manipur
LEIMAKHONG, June 3, 2026 — Leimakhong Military Station under the Spear Corps carried out a humanitarian relief initiative at Leimakhong, Manipur, to support the local community amid ongoing regional challenges.
Troops distributed essential food supplies and provided critical assistance to 450 students who have been affected by the ongoing unrest in the area. The outreach program was designed to offer material relief, encouragement, and a sense of reassurance to young minds during a difficult period.
Additionally, the initiative aimed to strengthen the bond between the Indian Army and the local populace by ensuring welfare support reaches the grassroots level.
