Lieutenant General Bhavnish Kumar retires after 37 years of service in Indian Army
NEW DELHI, June 2, 2026 :- Headquarters Delhi Area organized a farewell ceremony for Delhi Area General Officer Commanding Lieutenant General Bhavnish Kumar upon his superannuation.
The event marked the culmination of an illustrious military career spanning 37 years of distinguished service to the nation. The outgoing general officer has been a recipient of the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal and the Vishisht Seva Medal for his contributions to the armed forces.
