Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha orders transfers of Special Secretary Home Asgar Hussain

SRINAGAR, June 1 — The Government of Jammu and Kashmir General Administration Department has ordered the immediate transfer of Asgar Hussain, a Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service officer who was serving as the Special Secretary to the Government, Home Department.

According to Government Order No. 1022-JK(GAD) of 2026, issued today by order of the Lieutenant Governor, the transfer has been made in the interest of administration. Following his relief from the Home Department, Hussain shall await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.

The official order was signed and issued by Commissioner and Secretary to the Government M. Raju.
