DRDO CFEES signs MoU with Sapta Shakti Command for professional training and safety excellence

JAIPUR, May 14, 2026 — The Centre for Fire, Explosive and Environment Safety, a laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sapta Shakti Command to strengthen collaboration in capacity building and professional excellence.

The agreement followed a high-level interaction between the CFEES delegation and Sapta Shakti Command leadership. This partnership is designed to foster a more resilient future through shared military and scientific expertise.

The MoU establishes a structured framework for cooperation under the SURAKSHA programme, which focuses on Safety Understanding, Response And Knowledge for Saving Human Lives.

This initiative includes joint certification of courses, professional training, and proactive knowledge exchange between the two organizations.

The ceremony was formalised by COS Lt Gen Padam Singh Shekhawat and CFEES Director General Prateek Kishore, emphasizing a mutual commitment to institutional excellence and specialized skill development.
