Surinder Choudhary Reviews GMC Srinagar Infrastructure Progress and Meets Public Delegations

SRINAGAR, MAY 06: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary conducted an inspection of ongoing construction at Government Medical College Srinagar today, focusing on the new facility designed to upgrade the Surgery, Medicine, and Radiology departments.

During the site visit, he emphasized that the project must be completed within the stipulated timeframe while maintaining strict adherence to quality standards. He noted that enhancing these critical departments is a vital step toward strengthening the healthcare infrastructure and improving patient care services for the residents of Srinagar.

The Deputy Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s dedication to ensuring seamless healthcare delivery across the region, highlighting a focused effort to create equitable health infrastructure in both Srinagar and Jammu. He stated that the administration is prioritizing the development of medical facilities in all districts to ensure that high-quality services are accessible to the public.

By fast-tracking these projects, the government aims to dedicate modern medical amenities to the people as part of a broader commitment to public health.In addition to the infrastructure review, the Deputy Chief Minister met with various public delegations at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar to discuss welfare and developmental concerns.

After listening to the issues raised by the visitors, he resolved several matters on the spot and assured the delegations that all other genuine grievances would be pursued with the relevant departments for prompt redressal.

He reiterated that responsive governance and efficient service delivery remain the top priorities of the current administration.
