Kathua 11 August :- In a swift and decisive operation, Border Security Force (BSF) troops foiled a suspicious infiltration attempt near the International Border (IB) in Kathua district, Jammu, on the evening of August 11, 2025.
According to a press release issued by the BSF Jammu Frontier, alert personnel observed a Pakistani national illegally crossing the IB and moving aggressively towards the border fence. Despite repeated warnings from the vigilant troops, the intruder disregarded the commands, prompting the BSF to open controlled fire at his legs to neutralize the threat. The individual was subsequently apprehended and taken into custody for further interrogation.
The BSF has initiated a strong protest with their Pakistani counterparts, emphasizing the seriousness of the breach and demanding necessary action to prevent such incidents in the future. The detained individual is being questioned to ascertain his motives and possible links to hostile elements.
