Srinagar 24 August :- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has issued directives for all concerned departments to remain on high alert following heavy rainfall that has triggered significant waterlogging in several residential areas across the region.
With reports of rivers and nallahs flowing above the danger mark, the administration has activated control rooms to manage the situation effectively. The Chief Minister’s Office is maintaining constant touch with various departments to coordinate the response, prioritizing the drainage of affected areas and the swift restoration of essential services, including water supply and power.
Authorities have advised the public to exercise extreme caution and stay updated with official advisories.
