Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena calls on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan

NEW DELHI, June 15, 2026 :- Vice Admiral Sameer Saxena, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Naval Command, accompanied by Laboni Saxena, President of the Navy Wives Welfare Association (Southern Region), called on the President of India and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Droupadi Murmu, today at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

During the meeting, the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief briefed the President on the Indian Navy’s ongoing training initiatives and capacity-building measures conducted with friendly foreign countries.

He also reaffirmed the Southern Naval Command’s unwavering resolve and commitment to safeguarding the maritime interests of India across the Indian Ocean Region.
