Udhampur Reasi Police Range Celebrates 12th International Day of Yoga

UDHAMPUR, June 21, 2026 :- On the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga, Shiv Kumar Sharma, DIG of Police for the Udhampur-Reasi Range, along with SSP Udhampur Amritpal Singh, Additional SP Sandeep Bhat, DySP DAR Jatinder Singh, and DySP Headquarters Prehlad Sharma, attended the main yoga function at Subash Stadium in Udhampur.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from police officers, officials, students, and members of civil society who performed various yoga exercises aimed at promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle.

In addition to the main event, supervisory police officers across the Udhampur and Reasi districts participated in yoga sessions organized in multiple locations including Reasi, Katra, SMVD Bhawan, Arnas, Pouni, Bhambla, Mahore, Chassana, Basantgarh, Latti, Dudu, Majalta, Ramnagar, Chenani, Sudh Mahadev, Kud, Panchari, and Tikri.

These regional programs were conducted to commemorate the global occasion and spread awareness about the importance of incorporating yoga into daily routines.

Participants across all locations reaffirmed their commitment to adopting yoga as a permanent way of life to maintain good health, enhance mental wellness, and achieve overall well-being.
