SSP Anantnag briefs zonal and sector officers on security plans for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra

ANANTNAG, June 24, 2026: SSP Anantnag Amod Ashok Nagpure chaired a briefing session with all zonal and sector officers deployed for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra to review security and administrative preparedness. The meeting focused on reviewing the operational plan and ensuring seamless coordination among the officers entrusted with responsibilities along the pilgrimage route and other designated locations.

During the session, Amod Ashok Nagpure briefed the officers in detail about their specific roles and responsibilities, emphasizing the need for constant vigilance, professionalism, and strict adherence to standard operating procedures. He directed the officers to maintain close coordination with all stakeholders, ensure effective supervision within their respective jurisdictions, and remain prepared to respond promptly to any situation.

Special emphasis was laid on proactive policing, efficient communication, crowd management, and providing all possible assistance to pilgrims while maintaining a robust security grid.

The officers were further instructed to ensure round-the-clock alertness, conduct regular field inspections, and provide timely reporting of any developments to ensure the pilgrimage is conducted in a safe, secure, and hassle-free manner.
