Srinagar Airport hosts plantation drive for Yatri Suvidha Divas celebrations
SRINAGAR, June 15, 2026 :- A plantation drive was organized at Srinagar International Airport as part of the Yatri Suvidha Divas celebrations to reinforce a collective commitment toward environmental sustainability and a greener future.
The event was led by DC Budgam Athar Aamir and SSP Budgam Hariprasad K K.The Airport Director, alongside the heads of the CRPF and CISF, Airline Airport Managers, and various other airport stakeholders, participated in the environmental initiative by planting saplings outside the main Terminal Building.
The organizers noted that the collective effort symbolizes a shared vision for ecological responsibility and sustainable growth, with each planted sapling representing a step toward a cleaner and greener future.
