Safapora VB Club Clinches Title at Capt Vishal Bhandral,KC Memorial Volleyball Tournament

Bandipora April 21,2026 :- The Capt Vishal Bhandral, KC Memorial Volleyball Competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 74 teams representing various parts of North Kashmir, reflecting the region’s growing interest in sports and youth engagement.
Organised as a tribute to the brave officer, the tournament aimed to honour his legacy while fostering a spirit of unity, discipline and sportsmanship among the youth.
The event drew significant public attention and was graced by Maj Gen Tushar Sharma, VSM, GOC Kilo Force along with Brig Hemant singh Ponwar, VSM, Cdr 3 Sect RR who attended as the Chief Guest. Several civil dignitaries and local residents were also present, adding to the significance of the occasion.
In a thrilling finale, Safapora VB Club emerged victorious, showcasing exceptional teamwork and skill to lift the coveted trophy.
Jahama Warriors put up a strong fight throughout the tournament and finished as worthy runners-up.
The competition not only celebrated sporting excellence but also served as a platform to inspire youth towards constructive and positive pursuits.
