Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to Meet President Murmu Over State Issues

NEW DELHI, April 30, 2026:- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Said that President Droupadi Murmu has granted him an appointment to meet on May 5 at 12:00 PM.

Highlighting the responsibility to protect the mandate of the people of Punjab and uphold democratic values, Mann expressed his gratitude to the President for allocating time to discuss state matters.

While the Chief Minister had initially requested a collective meeting for all Members of the Legislative Assembly, the invitation was extended specifically to him for a solo discussion.

Despite the individual invitation, Mann confirmed that he will travel to Rashtrapati Bhavan accompanied by his fellow MLAs. While the legislators remain outside the premises, the Chief Minister intends to enter and forcefully present the voice of Punjab and the concerns of its citizens before the President.

He emphasized that this meeting is a crucial step in advocating for the interests of the state and ensuring that the public’s perspective is heard at the highest level of government.

Following the scheduled interaction, the Chief Minister plans to share the next course of action and the future strategy of his administration.

Mann reiterated his commitment to the democratic process and thanked the President for the opportunity to address these significant issues.
