The deplorable condition of rural link roads was another major issue discussed at the gathering. The deteriorated roads have severely affected the movement of patients, students, and elderly citizens.

With another rainy season approaching, the speakers condemned the responsible authorities for remaining indifferent to the daily hardships faced by the villagers. The gathering also witnessed strong resentment over rising youth unemployment and the poor state of essential services, including electricity, healthcare, and education.

Speakers alleged that educated young people are being forced to migrate in search of employment due to a lack of local opportunities.

Furthermore, the public accused elected representatives of being disconnected from the masses and restricting their roles merely to the utilization of constituency development funds rather than securing major developmental projects for the region.Deep anger was also expressed over the administration’s decision to alter developmental works that had been unanimously approved by villagers in various Gram Sabhas.

The speakers emphasized that ignoring the priorities decided by the grassroots democratic bodies amounts to an insult to public sentiments.

The gathering concluded with participants expressing gratitude to Pawan Khajuria for consistently raising their voices and pledging to remain united in their struggle for regional development, warning the administration that citizens would take to the streets if their rights continue to be ignored.
