Navi Mumbai Airport Inducts Three CISF K9 Canine Squad Members for Aviation Security
NAVI MUMBAI, June 10, 2026 :- Navi Mumbai Airport organized a K9 induction ceremony to formally deploy three newly trained canines into the Central Industrial Security Force operational framework.
The addition of these specialized dogs aims to strengthen the airport security apparatus and improve overall vigilance.The ceremony was attended by Subhash Murikenchery, Chief Airport Officer of Navi Mumbai International Airport Limited, alongside Sunit Sharma, Deputy Inspector General and Chief Airport Security Officer.
The event featured a live demonstration by the newly inducted K9 squad, highlighting their training, agility, and operational readiness. The gathering concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the collaboration between security personnel and airport stakeholders.
