LG Manoj Sinha Prays for Peace and Prosperity at Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple on Jyeshtha Ashtami
GANDERBAL, JUNE 22: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the revered Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple at Tulmulla in Ganderbal today to pay obeisance on the auspicious occasion of Jyeshtha Ashtami. Offering prayers for the peace, progress, and overall well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the Lieutenant Governor extended warm greetings to the gathered devotees and expressed his wishes that the blessings of Mata Ragnya Devi continue to guide the community toward harmony and spiritual fulfillment.
During the visit, Sinha interacted closely with members of the Kashmiri Pandit community, representatives of various Kashmiri Pandit organizations, PM Package employees, and civil society delegations. He listened to their concerns and reaffirmed the administration’s steadfast commitment to ensuring their welfare. Addressing the media, Sinha noted that the number of devotees visiting the holy shrine this year has surpassed previous turnouts. He assured that the local administration had successfully put comprehensive, foolproof arrangements and infrastructure enhancements in place to guarantee a seamless, safe, and deeply spiritual experience for the growing influx of pilgrims from across the nation.
Sinha commended the proactive coordination of the local administration, stakeholders, and security forces for their exceptional work in organizing the annual Mela. He was accompanied during the visit by Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg, Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Jatin Kishore, Relief & Rehabilitation Commissioner Dr. Arvind Karwani, alongside other senior officials of the police and civil administration.
