Kargil Vijay Diwas motorcycle expedition concludes at Drass war memorial

DRASS, June 7, 2026:- The Forever in Operations Division Motorcycle Expedition successfully concluded at the Kargil War Memorial in Drass as part of the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas commemoration.

Organized to pay tribute to the heroes of Operation Vijay, the expedition had commenced from Shinku La on June 3, 2026, before reaching its final destination on June 6, 2026.The final leg of the journey was flagged off from Khumbathang with 60 riders who covered a total distance of 575 kilometers.

Moving through challenging terrains across Zanskar and Ladakh, the route spanned Padum, Niraq, Stongday, Zangla, Drangdrung, Pensi La, Parkachik, and Kargil, demonstrating exceptional endurance, camaraderie, and patriotism among the participants.

Upon arriving at the Kargil War Memorial, the riders paid solemn homage to the valiant warriors who made the supreme sacrifice in defense of the nation.
