Army officer Beereshwar Goswami makes supreme sacrifice during operational duties

JAMMU, June 7, 2026 :- The General Officer Commanding of the White Knight Corps, also known as the XVI Corps, alongside all military ranks, expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of Lieutenant Beereshwar Goswami during operational duties.

The Indian Army officer made the supreme sacrifice while operating in a challenging environment characterized by rugged terrain, steep cliffs, and adverse weather conditions.

The Indian Army honored his unwavering commitment, strong spirit, and selfless service to the nation, stating that his sacrifice will continue to inspire all ranks within the force.

In an official statement shared on X, the White Knight Corps extended its full solidarity to the grieving family members and offered prayers for the eternal peace of the departed officer.
