Indian Army Golden Key Division Showcases Drone Warfare Precision at High Altitude Exercise

LEH, June 10, 2026:-:The Golden Key Division of the Indian Army demonstrated tactical synergy and precision targeting during a specialized drone warfare competition named Exercise Prakhar.

Conducted at a high-altitude firing range situated at 13,700 feet, the exercise successfully integrated modern drone technology into conventional battlefield operations.

The drills validated aerial dominance strategies and enhanced advanced combat tactics, techniques, and procedures specifically tailored for challenging mountain terrains.The high-altitude exercise combined rigorous training with synchronized maneuvers to underscore the military’s operational focus on mountain warfare and real-time coordination.

Major General Amaresh Gunjan, General Officer Commanding of the Golden Key Division, witnessed the drills firsthand, reaffirming the peak operational readiness of the participating units.

The successful completion of the exercise highlights how drone warfare has transitioned into a decisive pillar for securing battlefield superiority in remote border regions.
