Doda Drug Regulation: Joint Inspection Team Monitors Medical Shops in Chiralla and Puneja

THATHRI — In a major move to strengthen regulatory oversight and safeguard public health, a joint inspection team conducted a comprehensive monitoring drive of retail drug sale establishments across Chiralla and Puneja. Executed under the direct instructions of Deputy Commissioner Doda Krishan Lal and guided by Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr. Vinod Sharma, the enforcement drive was aimed at ensuring the strictly lawful sale of medicines and total adherence to regional drug control regulations.

A high-level team—including Naib Tehsildar Chiralla Ram Dayal, Medical Officer Dr. Mansoor Hussain, Senior Pharmacist Daleep Kumar, and In-charge Police Post Karara-Bhella Asif Farooq—meticulously verified trade licenses, record maintenance books, facility storage conditions, and compliance with prescribed healthcare norms across multiple local medical shops. Local shopkeepers were firmly instructed to follow the legal guidelines governing pharmaceutical sales, specifically being warned against dispensing prescription drugs without valid medical documentation. Emphasizing that any regulatory violations endangering public health would face strict penalties, the authorities reiterated that these rigorous monitoring drives will continue on a regular basis to enforce absolute compliance with drug control laws.
