Assam Rifles hosts farmer scientist interaction program in Nagaland

PEREN, July 9 — Assam Rifles under the Spear Corps collaborated with the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Krishi Vigyan Kendra Peren, and the ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region to organize a Farmers-Scientists Interaction Programme.

Held in Peren, Nagaland, the event served as a platform for local agriculturalists to interact directly with experts and gain insights into modern farming techniques.During the event, essential agricultural inputs were distributed to the participants under the framework of the North Eastern Hill Scheme.

This distribution drive was aimed at providing local farmers with the necessary resources to improve their seasonal yields and optimize their overall farming efficiency.The collaborative initiative focused heavily on promoting modern farming practices, sustainable livestock management, and advanced veterinary care.
