Kupwara Juvenile Justice Board Organizes Special Session for International Yoga Day

KUPWARA, June 21, 2026 :- The Juvenile Justice Board Kupwara organized a special yoga session today at the Mission Vatsalya Office to celebrate the International Day of Yoga and promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and officials representing the Juvenile Justice Board Kupwara, the District Child Protection Unit Kupwara, Childline Kupwara, and the Child Help Desk Handwara.

Participants performed various yoga postures and breathing exercises under the guidance of trained instructors, highlighting the practical importance of the ancient practice in maintaining a healthy body and mind.Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest, Principal Magistrate of the Juvenile Justice Board Kupwara, Mudasir Bashir, emphasized the significance of yoga as an invaluable gift of ancient tradition that fosters deep harmony between mind and body while contributing to overall well-being.
