Agniveer Basic Course Trainees Graduate from Indian Navy Anti Submarine Warfare School

KOCHI, June 6, 2026 — The Agniveer Basic Weapon and Sensor Courses successfully concluded with a graduation ceremony at the Anti Submarine Warfare School.

The graduating batch completed 16 weeks of intensive training that covered anti-submarine warfare weapons and sensors, small arms firing, demolitions, and security sentry duties, alongside various competitive sports and outdoor adventure activities designed to build naval discipline.

Several trainees distinguished themselves by securing top honors for their outstanding performance across different specialized disciplines. In the Agniveer Underwater Sensor course, Moyya Bharadwaj secured the first position, followed by Bhawna Sharma in second and Hardik Tiwari in third.

For the Agniveer Underwater Weapon course, Soumen Sahu claimed the top spot, while Aditya and Harsh Thakur finished in second and third place respectively.The premier naval training institute also recognized the top performers for overall excellence throughout the multi-month training program.

Aditya was awarded the title of Best All-Rounder among the male trainees, while Chhavi Dube secured the Best All-Rounder title among the female participants.

The Anti Submarine Warfare School leadership congratulated all the graduating Agniveers and their families on reaching this professional milestone, wishing them success and excellence as they deploy to their respective naval careers.
