CRPF Director General monitors ground security during West Bengal assembly elections

KOLKATA, April 29, 2026:-Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force G. P. Singh personally oversaw security operations today during the second phase of polling in West Bengal.

The official conducted extensive field visits to multiple polling booths across various sectors to evaluate the effectiveness of the security deployment and ensure a safe environment for voters.

By maintaining a direct presence on the ground, the leadership aimed to bolster the confidence of the electorate and provide immediate guidance to the personnel managing the election sites.
