Valedictory Ceremony Concludes Special Training for Probationary Deputy Superintendents at Sunjwan

JAMMU, May 05 — The Commando Training Centre in Sunjwan hosted a valedictory function today to mark the completion of a one-month special training course for probationary Deputy Superintendents of Police.

The event was presided over by Shridhar Patil, with senior officials including Joginder Singh, Vaibhav Meena, and Mohan Sharma in attendance.

This intensive program was specifically designed to sharpen the tactical skills, leadership qualities, and operational readiness of the officers, focusing on both physical endurance and mental alertness to tackle modern security challenges.

During the ceremony, several officers were recognized for their exceptional performance throughout the month-long training.

Umar Yousaf was honored as the best trainee, while Rajat Sambyal and Vikram Choudhary secured the second and third positions respectively. Specialized awards were also presented to Rakesh Singh for excellence in firing and Athar for best endurance.

These recognitions highlighted the high standards of professional competence maintained by the participants during the rigorous physical and tactical drills.

Addressing the graduates, Shridhar Patil congratulated the probationers and extended his appreciation to the instructors and training staff for their professionalism.

He stressed that maintaining strict discipline and continuous physical fitness are essential for effective policing. The training concluded with a call for the new officers to prioritize constant skill upgrades to remain prepared for the evolving nature of ground-level security operations in the region.
