Surinder Choudhary flags off essential services trucks for remote Jammu districts

JAMMU, JUNE 6: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary flagged off three specialized essential services trucks today for the districts of Doda, Udhampur, and Jammu to strengthen public service delivery in remote and underserved areas of the province.

The deployment of these vehicles represents a strategic step toward enhancing administrative and logistical capabilities, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of essential public services, particularly across far-flung and difficult terrains.

The project was executed at a total cost of 1.05 crore rupees, with each specialized truck costing approximately 35 lakh rupees. Equipped with advanced tools and machinery, these vehicles are expected to significantly improve the responsiveness and operational efficiency of field agencies when addressing public infrastructure and service-related requirements.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister reiterated the commitment of the government to equitable regional development and infrastructure strengthening across all districts of Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing that robust field-level logistics are essential for improving governance and accelerating development on the ground.
