Poonch Police Raise Awareness Against Drug Abuse at GHS Gursai Sar
POONCH, April 16, 2026:-District Police Poonch organized an extensive drug awareness campaign at Government High School Gursai Sar as part of the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan initiative.
The event aimed to educate the youth on the dangers of substance abuse and promote a healthier, drug-free lifestyle within the community. Students, teachers, and local residents participated in the session, which focused on the physical, mental, and legal consequences of narcotics.
Police officials during the program highlighted the destructive impact of addiction on families and society, urging students to act as ambassadors for positive change. The session included interactive discussions where students shared their perspectives on combating the social evil of drugs.
