Lt Gen Neeraj Shukla Reviews Operational Readiness at Lachit Borphukan Military Station
DHUBRI, April 17, 2026:- Lieutenant General Neeraj Shukla, General Officer Commanding of the Gajraj Corps, recently conducted a high-level visit to the newly established Lachit Borphukan Military Station in Dhubri, Assam.
During his visit, the GOC focused on assessing current operational readiness and inspecting ongoing infrastructure development projects within the facility.
He expressed strong appreciation for the professionalism and dedication shown by the troops, commending their relentless commitment to securing the nation’s borders.In addition to military reviews, Lieutenant General Shukla engaged with the local veteran community and civil authorities.
He held a productive interaction with Captain (IN) Girish Kumar (Retd), the Zila Sainik Welfare Officer of Dhubri, praising his successful efforts in revitalizing support systems for veterans across Lower Assam.
The visit concluded with a meeting involving esteemed veterans and civil dignitaries, further strengthening the bond between the military and the local community.
