Kuwait Strongly Condemns Iranian Aggression Against Turkey and Azerbaijan

KUWAIT CITY, March 5, 2026 — The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued an official statement today expressing the State of Kuwait’s vehement condemnation and denunciation of recent attempts by the Islamic Republic of Iran to target the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Characterizing these actions as a flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, the Ministry emphasized that such provocations undermine regional stability and contravene the principles of global diplomacy.

In a show of diplomatic unity, the Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with both Turkey and Azerbaijan during this period of heightened tension.

The statement further declared Kuwait’s unwavering support for any measures taken by the two nations to safeguard their national sovereignty, security, and internal stability.

By standing firmly with its allies, Kuwait reiterated its commitment to upholding international order and resisting any actions that threaten the territorial integrity of sovereign states.
