Indian Army veterans revisit forward Ladakh posts after three decades

LEH, June 24, 2026 — A group of veteran Indian Army officers revisited a high-altitude forward post in Ladakh to honor their legacy of service and sacrifice. The visit, which took place three decades after their active deployment in the region, allowed the veterans to reconnect with the high-altitude frontiers where they once served.

During the visit, the retired officers interacted closely with serving soldiers currently stationed at the remote border outposts.The interaction focused on sharing historical operational experiences and tactical knowledge gained during their years in uniform, serving as an inspiration for the current generation of personnel deployed with the Fire and Fury Corps.
