Indian Army and CISF conduct joint tactical training to boost combat readiness
VARANASI, June 2, 2026The 39 Gorkha Training Centre and the Central Industrial Security Force conducted a joint training exercise aimed at strengthening synergy, interoperability, and combat readiness between the two security forces.
Under the theme of training together to respond stronger, the collaborative program allowed both organizations to exchange best tactical practices and sharpen their operational reflexes. The comprehensive training schedule focused heavily on Quick Reaction Team drills, Close Quarter Battle firing, and urban counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations.
In addition to tactical maneuvers, the personnel underwent rigorous physical endurance conditioning and received advanced training in modern technology, specifically focusing on drone operations and Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems.
This joint initiative reflects a shared commitment by both the Indian Army and the paramilitary force to maintain a highly coordinated response, ensure mission readiness, and enhance overall preparedness against emerging security challenges in the region.
