Indian Ambassador to China Vikram K Doraiswami Meets Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi

NEW DELHI, June 23, 2026 — The Ambassador of India to the People’s Republic of China, Vikram K Doraiswami, called on Chief of the Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi to discuss the evolving regional and global strategic landscape.

During the meeting, both leaders reviewed the current state of bilateral engagement between India and China. They also deliberated on strategic measures aimed at strengthening existing mechanisms of cooperation and diplomatic dialogue between the two nations.
