IIM Jammu management course helps JCOs and retired defense personnel transition to corporate roles

JAMMU, JUNE 22, 2026 :- The Professional Management Course sponsored by the Directorate General Resettlement concluded today at the Indian Institute of Management Jammu. The program was designed for 31 Junior Commissioned Officers and other ranks from the Tri-Services to enhance their skills for post-retirement opportunities.

The training initiative focused on developing managerial, leadership, and professional competencies for retiring and retired defense forces personnel. This specialized curriculum aims to facilitate a smooth and successful transition for veterans into corporate and entrepreneurial roles after their military service.

White Knight Corps Brigadier Kapil Taneja attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. In his address, he commended the participants for their dedication to self-improvement and lifelong learning, encouraging them to effectively apply the newly acquired knowledge and skills to their second careers.
