Delhi Police hosts anti drug awareness campaign in Seelampur under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan
NEW DELHI, June 11, 2026 :- The Anti Narcotics Task Force of the Delhi Police organized an anti-drug awareness programme at the JJ Cluster in Seelampur as part of its ongoing mission to create a drug-free capital.
Local residents participated in the event, which was held under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan initiative to foster community participation against substance abuse. The campaign focused on educating citizens about the severe dangers of drug abuse and the vital role of public cooperation in making Delhi safe and healthy.
During the awareness drive, officials encouraged community members to proactively report incidents of drug trafficking and consumption.
The residents were also informed about the MANAS helpline number 1933, which allows citizens to register confidential complaints and share information safely.
Through these collaborative neighborhood programs, the Delhi Police aims to transform the fight against narcotics into a widespread public movement supported by active civic engagement.
